Harry worked as a relieving postmaster so travelled to where there was a position but instead of running the post office he would go off shooting and fishing.


Jane Elizabeth REED

The following was found on the back of a photo of Jane it is written by my grandfather Andrew "My mother whom as a child with her parnets and grandparents came from Penzance Cornwall in 1856 in the sailing ship "Marion". Departed Plymouth 9 Sept 1856 arrived Pt Adelaide 19th January 1857 (more than three months on the sea). Parents William & Eliza Reed took up farming & named the property Delabole after a quarry in Cornwall.
